Poker Aces refers to two aces dealt pre-flop. It is the strongest attainable before theflop hand inhold’em Poker. But regardless many competitors end up on the wrong end when given this hand.

When you are given a set of Aces, you just do not drop out before theflop. You are positioned with the greatest achievable hand at this part of the game. So how do you bet with Poker Aces ? Do you simply go all-in? I’d say no to that.

Bear in mind, you are trying to earn as much money from this strong position. You will want to maximise the opportunity. Going all-in will simply drive most competitors into folding and not placing a wager.

If you’re in the initial seat (1st or second to wager), you’ll make a single bet. Any person with decent cards will call, with hope a player may raise. If someone has made a raise don’t hop to re-raise or call, pause for a short while – make them think you’re considering your options and then call.

After the flop your course of action will be to get rid of anybody that might get a straight or a flush. So I would start to raise boldly, if you’re lucky you’ll trick one player into believing that you are faking it.

If you’re in the middle or later position (near the last to wager) you will watch as everyone calls and then raise. Even though you’re sitting with a pair of aces, if possible try to abstain from a show-down. Defend your hand by forcing others to fold after the flop. If you don’t drive out your competitors you chance squandering your hand.
