Texas Holdem is simply about individuals and seating. All rounded Holdem players agree that position in no restriction Holdem is fundamentally significant. Showing your hole cards in late position can be much more profitable than in starting poker position. This is because much more info is gathered prior to acting.
i.e., I was playing a $1-$2 no limit cash match at a local poker room. I came in with 2, 9 unsuited on the croupier marker, so I could see some excitement. Flop arrived A-A-4. A player in starting spot laid a $15 wager. Two individuals drop out and it was now my turn. I should have folded, but his action appear to be a tiny bit odd. I read this guy as a weak-tight guy, and typically if he held the best hand he would simply check, so I called.
The turn showed with a 7, making it A-A-4-7. My challenger placed a further wager of $20. I hesitated for a while, but decided to re-raise a further $30thirty dollars on top of his twenty dollars. He folds and I won the pot.
Playing late spot gives you an idea where you are positioned by seeing how other entrants behave and wager. On the flip side, people at starting position could use their poker position to check-raise the late positioned antagonists and corner them later at the end. In Texas Holdem, each ends, late and starting should be bet cautiously.
